The service department of W.I.R.S is recognised as one of the strengths of the company. It operates from a purpose built state of the art facility which includes a welding test area, a ‘blow-out’ room with extraction and test benches for welding torches and robotic cable assemblies.

On-site and In- house Repairs and Servicing

Our highly qualified service engineers have over 50 years experience in repairing and servicing of all types of welding equipment for example MIG, TIG, Plasma, Stud welders, Welding torches, Robot torch cable assemblies and fume extraction.

• Contract servicing is also taken on where companies require their machines to be serviced annually or as quality requirement.
  
  
• Up to date test equipment is used by our engineers.
  
  
• Validation of machines: We are able to validate all types of equipment which is also a quality requirement for many companies.
  
  
• Portable appliance testing: We have the equipment to P.A.T. test all machines after servicing / repairs, either on-site or in-house.
  
  
• Gas equipment checks: Regular gas equipment checks can be carried out on-site as a Health and Safety requirement.
  
  
• Approved repairs: Approved 3M Repair and Parts centre for the Powered air and Air feed respirator range
