At W.I.R.S. we have some of the most experienced staff in our field. Our service and sales team have a wealth of experience spanning over 75 years. Our team utilise their experience and development to quickly analyse customer needs, always handling each customer contact with courtesy, professionalism and real confidence of being able to offer a service they can be really proud of.

Hire Equipment
We have an extensive range of welding machines for hire, all of which has been weld tested and undergone an electrical safety test before dispatch. We have machines available for long or short term hire. Machines can be validated on request.
Repair and Service
The service department of W.I.R.S is recognised as one of the major strengths of the company. It operates from a purpose built state of the art facility which includes a welding test area, a 'blow-out' room with extraction and test benches for welding torches and robotic cable assemblies. WIRS can offer you an in house and a on site repair service. All our service engineers are Miller and Kemppi technically trained and are conversant with many other makes of welding machine, so you can be assured that you will be receiving the correct repair, service and technical back up.
We can offer the following services:
- 1. Service call outs to any make or model of MIG or TIG welding machines, plasma cutting machines, Nelson Stud welding equipment and Nederman portable fume extracting units.
- 2. Validation to the latest BS EN 50504:2008 Standards
- 3. Contract Servicing to MIG and TIG welding machines, and plasma cutting machines.
- 4. PAT electrical testing to single and three phase welding machines.
- 5. Gas equipment checks (oxygen and fuel). Regular or contract checks can be carried out on site or in house as a health and safety requirement.
- 6. Repairs to many makes and models of robot cable assemblies and hand welding torches.
- 7. We are an approved 3M repair and parts centre for the air feed respirator and powered air range of units.
